A fine line…
I really enjoy both painting & decorating and garden design & maintenance. So how do I split my time? Well, the time of year, seasons and climate normally dictate my projects and help plan out my months ahead.
Painting & decorating
Nothing transforms a door, room or house more than a fresh colour scheme and a few coats of the right paint. However the attention is in the detail and the quality of work is paramount. I pride myself on delivering a great result that will leave you smiling. From wall preparation, crack and minor patch filling and plaster smoothing to a complete review of your home’s colour scheme, I’m happy to get involved and offer ideas and advice as well as outstanding results.
Installation/ fixtures & fittings
Curtains, blinds, plantation shutters, pendant lights, wall lights, artwork, mirrors, flat pack furniture assembly, shelving projects, shower/bath screens etc. are all quick fix design solutions that can make an important impact on a space. However, all require a degree of technical ability, experience and the correct tools to achieve a great result that will stand the test of time.
Over 25 years of gardening experience and an avid and active member of the RHS, I know my plants. I specialise in creating and maintaining usable and enjoyable outside spaces. I keep up to date with all the recent gardening trends and never miss the Chelsea flower show. Oh! and I’m passionate and about topiary.
So I can help plan, and maintain your garden and take care of its specific seasonal needs throughout the year. I also take care of all those jobs that seem to back up; like pruning, mulching and regular lawn maintenance. Hedge and shrub trimming. Clean up and restore paths and patios, build that new shed or greenhouse and given the opportunity, design and implement completely new garden design solutions, leaving you free to just enjoy the results.
A tasteful and functional tiling project will transform and modernise any hallway, kitchen, bathroom or utility room. Splash backs, walls and small floor areas.
